The Houston Barbecue Festival recently announced the 26 barbecue restaurants participating in this year's festival. The lineup represents both the best barbecue that Houston has to offer, as well as the diversity of barbecue styles that is unique to this city known for a mélange of international cuisines and traditions.
"Houston barbecue continues to grow and evolve," says J.C. Reid, festival director and co-founder. "Still, we are of the belief that bigger is not always better. With that in mind, we've slowly added new barbecue joints over the years, and this year's lineup is truly a snapshot of the great things happening in Houston barbecue."
