Flooding continues in west Harris Co. as Addicks and Barker reservoirs overflow
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Here is the latest information on the status of the Barker and Addicks reservoirs as well as the Buffalo Bayou watershed.
The water levels in both dams are steady and peaking and it is expected in the near future that water levels will subside.
Residents living near Buffalo Bayou, from Dairy Ashford to Piney Point need to be aware of rising water. The water level is expected rise about a foot this afternoon around the Piney Point area.
The Harris County Flood Control District expected the following subdivision to be impacted by some degree of flooding from the rising levels of both reservoirs.
