Airman surprises daughter with heartwarming reunion

GERMANTOWN, PA -- A video captured one Delaware County family's heartwarming reunion Wednesday between a military dad and his daughter.

In the video, Tech Sgt. David Opperman is seen Skyping with his daughter, Amber, at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.

That alone isn't unusual. In fact, mom Yvet says the school has allowed the Delaware Air National Guard member to chat with his 7th-grader every Wednesday for the past six months of his deployment - but today was different.

Little did Amber know, her dad wasn't Skyping from overseas, he was in the next room.

You don't need to be able to read sign language to understand the beautiful, daddy-daughter moment. Their embrace speaks volumes.
