All female group wins 27th Annual Mariachi Invitational at RodeoHouston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Congratulations to Mariachi Mariposas!

The all female group won the 27th annual Mariachi Invitational at RodeoHouston Sunday night on Go Tejano Day.

The group is from Mission, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley.

The Mariachi Mariposas was named South Texas' finest female Mariachi group and Best in Texas for the Rodeo in 2014.
