"Oh they're excited. They're glad to be getting the haircut today," Georgia Ellis said about her two grandsons, Nehemaih Preston, 8, and Daniel Ellis, 5, as the barbers trimmed their hair. She is raising the two boys, so getting free haircuts and supplies helps her stay on budget.
"It will save quite a bit because haircuts now run $15-$20 a haircut so I have two grandsons and it's going to save me a bunch," she said.

The third annual back-to-school bash has parents like Georgia in mind.
"With me growing up in a single parent home, I saw the struggle my mom went through to provide for me and make sure I had backpacks, school supplies and those things," explained Yvette Adams, with Diamonds and Pearls.
It's one last summer party before the first bell rings.

Dealing with food allergies when heading back to school
It's an important message for parents whose children are living with food allergies. As your little ones get ready to head back to the classroom, have you communicated with the school about those allergies. In some severe cases, it could be a matter of life or death.
"We like to do it the day before school starts, because when students go to school tomorrow, they can start school with a fresh look and fresh attitude," Wanda Adams said.
The event helped 150 children this year and they hope to help even more next year.
