Free breakfast and lunch as you head back-to-school

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you are new to Houston ISD or maybe you weren't aware, you may not have to purchase breakfast or lunch this school year.

Thanks to a grant at all HISD schools, kids can start their day off right with free breakfast.

Check each school for exactly what time breakfast will be offered.

And when it comes to lunch over 150 schools, elementary, middle and high schools, offer free lunch everyday.

There is no need to qualify or submit an application.

But if you are at one of those schools that does not offer a free lunch, you can submit an application if you qualify.

You can do it online or pick up an application from your campus and return it to your school's office as soon as possible.
