Woman mistakes gas pedal for brakes and crashes into Walgreens Halloween section

HEDWIG VILLAGE, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are investigating after an elderly woman accidentally drove into a Walgreens Monday.

Authorities say the incident happened around 12:07 p.m. in the 9300 block of Katy Freeway when the woman mistook her gas pedal for the brakes.

The woman allegedly panicked, causing her to drive into the store.

No one, including the woman, was injured.
