Vandals armed with bricks target parked vehicles in Spring

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Eight vehicles were damaged Monday night in the Birnam Woods neighborhood in Spring.

Investigators say a group of vandals drove around the neighborhood around 10:30pm, randomly throwing bricks at any vehicles parked on the street.

"That's ridiculous," said Gabriela Montiel, whose car windshield was shattered. "Like, who is driving around thinking, 'Oh, let's just go drive around and throw bricks at cars that people pay for?'"

Detectives say it happened so fast that they can't find any witnesses, but they're hoping surveillance video can help lead to the suspects.
