Bounce house goes airborne
A bounce house with children inside was blown into the air by wind.

BUFFALO, New York -- A bounce house with children inside went airborne near Buffalo.



It was thrown into the air by a wind gust, then dragged into a corn maze before landing about 50 feet away.



A 76-year-old woman was struck and dragged with the bounce house.



She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.



No one else was injured.



Authorities are investigating whether the giant inflatable was properly secured at the time.



This is the latest among several accidents involving inflatables.



In April, five children were hurt in South Carolina after a gust of wind caused a bounce house to go airborne.


Five children were hurt near Greenville, South Carolina when a gust of wind made an inflatable bounce house and slide go airborne.


Then in June, four children in Mexico were injured at a children's party when the inflatable was swept away by high winds.
