BOAT ON THE LOOSE: Accident involving boat causes slowdown on SH-288

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police responded to a crash involving a boat near Midtown.

Officers say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on 2300 SH-288 inbound at the IH-45 inbound ramp.

According to HPD, they are currently unsure who or what caused the accident.

At least one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, police said.

The accident is still under investigation.
