Life Flight called after 30,000-lb. beam falls on man

HEMPSTEAD, Texas (KTRK) -- The Waller County Sheriff's Office said a man was injured by a falling beam at a business on Old Houston Highway.

Life Flight was called to pick up a 31-year-old man, according to sheriff's deputies.

We do not know the name of the patient or what was happening just before the 30,000-pound beam fell.
