An Israeli company called StoreDot has created a prototype that can charge a cell phone back to 100 percent in only 30 seconds.
CNN reports that StoreDot's new device will continue charging a phone once it has been unplugged.
A Youtube video shows the device that's slightly bulkier than a smartphone that attaches to the back of the phone. Now, the company is working on creating a version small enough to fit inside the phone instead.
StoreDot hopes to have the prototype ready within the next two years, with a product on the market shortly after that.
