Saturday's gathering was a show of support and solidarity. The Chinese community came together to show their outrage and to look for answers.
"We are determined to do whatever we can to bring to justice the murderer of the Sun family -- the perpetrator of this heinous crime," said David Cao with the Houston Chinese Alliance.
Dozens of people in attendance brought flowers to honor the four family members killed inside their Cypress home. Maoye Sun and his wife, Mei Xie, were found shot to death, along with their two young sons on January 30.
Investigators have not identified a suspect and don't have a motive in the killings. The unanswered questions are making their way around the community.
Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia spoke to those who gathered on Saturday to let them know his investigators are leaving no stone unturned.
"My office is dedicating all resources available to helping us find the people that are responsible," Garcia said.
Community members have expressed shock and anger over the unexplained killings, and with the uncertainty comes fear.
"We still don't know the motive of this murderer. I mean, why is he doing this? And also, this must be a very cold-blooded murderer, and people are very concerned about who is going to be the next," Cao said.
For those that knew the Sun family, the horrific crime is even harder to understand.
Anyone with information about the family's murder can contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS or the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
