The Montgomery County Precinct 4 constable says Joyce Phillips was illegally selling pain medication out of her rented home in Splendora. It is the third time she has been caught selling pills in Montgomery County.
Authorities actually seized her Conroe area house on a previous occasion. Phillips and her boyfriend were arrested yesterday.
"We did seize a substantial amount of cash," said Precinct 4 Constable Rowdy Hayden. "She doesn't work. She has numerous vehicles."
Roughly half a dozen people showed up at the house while authorities were there. Authorities believe Phillips pays people to get pills from legitimate pharmacies.
