HCSO: Man, woman shot in northwest Harris County domestic disturbance

HOUSTON

According to investigators, two people were shot at about 3:30pm at a home in the 1600 block of Cheshire Grove near Ella Crossing in northwest Harris County.

Sunday evening, patrol cars were lined up on the street and neighbors were standing outside, watching as the investigation happened in front of them.

Few details have been released, but we're told deputies arrived and found a woman shot in the arm and a man shot in the head.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she is expected to be OK. The man was wheeled out of the home and taken to a nearby ambulance, which drove him to a Life Flight helicopter that was waiting just a few blocks away. Officials said he was in critical condition at last check.

Deputies are calling this a "domestic shooting," but it's still unclear who shot whom and why.

The woman's son told us his mother has been having problems with her boyfriend recently, but investigators have not confirmed the relationship between the two victims.
