A Houston police spokesman said the incident happened Thursday evening on West TC Jester near the Watonga Bridge.
According to an incident report, the woman was jogging with her husband. He was some distance in front of her when the woman told police a man grabbed her leg from behind. She did not fall to the ground, but was able to run away.
The man was wearing a hoodie and gray shorts at the time, according to her description, and was 5'9" tall.
The woman was also running while listening to her iPod, which could have distracted her and made her more of a target.
The park is not new to crime, ranging from petty crime to a previous attempted sexual assault earlier this year.
Police also advise walkers and joggers to travel in groups, especially after dark.
