The hole appeared at the Gessner and West Belfort intersection in southwest Houston.
The pothole was about six inches deep and stretched for about 6 feet. At least four cars had damage to their tires after hitting it.
Someone eventually put a barricade up to prevent anyone else from hitting it but the damage was already done. The city is now repairing the hole.
