Suspect in Cypress double murder caught in Romania

HOUSTON

Investigators say Camil Matase, 48, fled to his homeland, Romania, after the murders and is being held there. The FBI is working with the Romanian government to try to bring him back to the U.S.

Back on November 14, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a home in the 8400 block of E. Windhaven Terrace Trail. The body of the man's wife, Emilia Matase, 47, was found in the master bedroom. The body of his son, Emanuel Matase, 26, was found in a second story study.

At this point, a motive in the killing is unknown.
