Rashad Tate was arrested Thursday in New Orleans. The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force says a tip call led to his capture. Tate will extradited to Harris County to face a murder charge.
Police believe Tate caused or help take part in the fatal stabbing of Carlos Martin at a home in southwest Houston in February.
