An Oregon radio station is making a change after a billboard sparked outrage, according to a Portland television station.

The radio station 101 KLX had a billboard up in the middle of Portland's Chinatown that read, 'We love you long time.'

"The more I learn about it, the more I think it's something off base," accountant Louis Lee told television station KOIN.

Lee says it's in the wrong place and also by using a phrase from the movie 'Full Metal Jacket,' which was said by a Vietnamese prostitute, it lacks the respect the Vietnamese people have earned.

KXL is removing the billboard. A spokesperson says it's a famous quote from an old rap song and they thought it would get attention. They say in no way did they mean disrespect to anyone.
