Investigators say 21-year-old Matthew Cavallaris and 20-year-old Adam Lehnus were drunk when they swiped a five-foot-tall, pajama-wearing fiberglass dragon. The sculpture was taken from the yard of Naperville Mayor George Pradel.
The Daily Herald reports the students have pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor. They each have to do 50 hours of community service, write apologies and pay 175 bucks apiece for repairs.
And the dragon is now back in the mayor's yard.
