Man who ran into classroom at Jewell Houston Academy charged

HOUSTON

The incident happened at Jewell Houston Academy. Aldine ISD police say the suspect, 46-year-old Lewis Robinson, ran through the school's front door and into a fifth grade classroom.

According to court documents, he told the teacher to lock the classroom door and told students to get on the floor.

Robinson was arrested within minutes. He's charged with unlawful restraint of a child and is being held on $20,000 bond.
