KPTV in Portland reports Russell Gordon was sentenced to 10 days in jail for using a camera pen to do the recording. When being sentenced yesterday, the judge in his case called Gordon's actions an "egregious invasion of privacy."
The victim said she found the camera pen Gordon was using in her office.
"I think maybe the worst of it is that Mr. Gordon sullied what was in my mind a very selfless act on my part, an act that was meant only for my daughter and my daughter alone," she said.
The victim is undergoing counseling. As for Gordon, he apologized and said he wants to take responsibility for his actions. He'll undergo a mental health evaluation, as well as a sex offender evaluation and will pay restitution.
Gordon was fired from his job, but has since found another one.
