At about 12:30pm, school officials were contacted by Houston police about a situation along E. Lake Houston Parkway. Details are not yet clear on what police are looking for.
Huffman ISD has three campuses along the road. Ben Bowen Early Childhood, Copeland Elementary and Huffman Intermediate schools have all been placed on lockdown as a precaution while HPD continues to work in the area.
