This started on South Gessner when officers spotted a pickup truck without its headlights on. Police attempted to pull the occupants over, but the driver took off.
During the chase, the two boys ditched the vehicle and ran, but were eventually caught. They both face evading charges.
The pickup was not stolen. There is no word on why they tried to run in the first place.
