NW Harris Co. massage parlor accused of offering sexual services

HOUSTON

The latest bust happened at a place called Ace Relaxation on Kuykendahl near Cypress Creek Parkway.

Neighbors in the strip center say the place has been a nuisance and deputy constables say the workers were up to no good.

It's behind the tinted glass windows at Ace Relaxation where deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office say some workers were up to no good, allegedly making money performing more than just massages illegally.

"Well they are open 24/7. And constantly, gentleman are coming through all day and all night," said one concerned neighbor, who identified herself only as Karen.

She is among the concerned neighbors in the Saddle Creek 2 strip center who say they're not surprised deputies just arrested Yura Shin Kim at Ace Relaxation. The 39-year-old is charged with offering an undercover deputy sexual services at the business in exchange for a fee.

"It's concerning because there's kids in the neighborhood and there's a lot of families concerned about it," nearby business owner Monte Willis said.

Willis runs an apartment-locating business in the same shopping strip. He says Ace Relaxation has been a nuisance neighbor for quite some time.

"It brings in people that aren't so desirable, and it's concerning for the neighbors and the families in this area. There's a neighborhood right behind this strip center with a lot of homes in it," Williams said.

Investigators say Ace Relaxation is not a properly licensed business and its employees, like Kim, are not licensed by the state to perform massage services.

These types of massage parlor are prohibited in Harris County.

"I wouldn't want it in my backyard, but this is my business, so it is in my backyard more or less," Karen said.

Right now the business is closed, and Kim's bond was set at $1,500.
