According to the New York Times, Houston ranks high, at number 7 on the list, for its diverse culture and food. We were the only city in the US to rank top 10.
The only places the New York Times ranked higher included Rio de Janeiro, Marseille, Nicaragua, Accra in Ghana, Africa, Bhutan in the Himalayas and Amsterdam.
