The sewage from the lift station on the Gulf Freeway started leaking into the water on Wednesday. SkyEye 13 HD was over the scene as crews were working on it.
Houston's Department of Public Works and Engineering says the spill happened after some of the station lost power.
Public Works says no fish were killed as a result of the spill and there's no threat to the public.
