It began on South Post Oak and Willow Bend, and ended on West Orem in southwest Houston.
Police say they tried to pull the driver over for speeding, but he took off. He pulled over and surrendered a short time later. No one was injured.
Authorities say the driver faces charges of DWI and evading.
