Digital glitches lead to longer wait for full runoff results

Digital glitches led to later than usual results from last night's primary runoff elections in Harris County.

Republican voters had to wait in line for hours in some places. Voters at one church in Champions Forest didn't vote until 9pm.

The results were also posted later than usual because of problems with phone lines. Election workers bring memory cards full of voting data to Reliant Stadium and then it is sent to election headquarters downtown. The issue was cleared up around 9:30pm.
