Shortly after 12:30pm Wednesday, an 18-wheeler struck a building at Mueller Building Products at 3575 Southwest Freeway. Police say the driver was traveling south on the feeder road, traveled across a field and came to a stop after hitting a large metal building. The 58-year-old driver was dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
An autopsy will be held to determine the cause of death. The man's identity has not been released.
The case remains under investigation.
