Ex-HPD employee gets 4 years behind bars

Edward Moses Mason, 42, has been charged with bribery.

A former Houston Police Department employee will spend four years behind bars for his part in a bribery scheme.

Edward Mason, 43, was convicted of giving illegal game room owners information about raids and undercover operations in exchange for money.

Mason formerly worked in HPD's Property Room handling evidence. He was arrested last April during a sting operation.
