Police have been working two separate missing persons cases in the Houston area. This morning, we learned one had been solved, but the search continues in the other.

In the first case, Gustavo Cuellar had wandered away from his home in the 600 block of Smith Street late yesterday afternoon, but he has since been located.

In the other case, Texas Equusearch is asking for volunteers in the search for Kathy Lawson-Arrendondo. The 37-year-old was last seen in southwest Houston February 11.

She does have some distinct identifying features, including a visible scar running vertically from her forehead to her nose. She also has a tattoo on her right arm of a heart with her childrens' name on it and a tattoo of a unicorn on her left shoulder.

She was last seen wearing pink pajamas.

Search volunteers gathered at the Sharpstown Baptist Church on Bellaire this morning to search for Arrendondo.
