A man in Montgomery County had to be rescued after floodwaters swept his pickup into a creek yesterday.

Authorities say the man was driving through high water on Johnson Road around 10pm when his Ford F-350 began to float. The current took his pickup into a creek.

Amazingly, the truck stayed afloat. The man was able climb onto the roof of his vehicle and use his cell phone to call for help.

Firefighters were able to use a boat to pick him up. He wasn't hurt, but his truck was swept downstream.
