Two men now face jail time for killing the therapy dog of a local U.S. Navy SEAL hero.

Alfonzo Hernandez was convicted this week of shooting and killing the dog of Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell.

Luttrell was the only survivor of a 2005 SEAL operation that left 19 American troops dead.

Michael John Edmonds was also charged in the shooting and pleaded guilty.

Both men face up to two years in state jail and a $10,000 fine.
