
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A suspect was hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting in west Houston on Thursday, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said that officers responded to the shooting in the 14300 block of Westheimer Road.
Based on preliminary information, police said that an officer discharged a firearm, striking the suspect. No officers were injured at the scene, HPD said.
At this time, it is unclear what led up to the shooting.
