Prosecutors in Tyler on Tuesday announced 39-year-old Lori Smith Pickens of Grand Saline has pleaded guilty to embezzlement by a bank employee.
No sentencing date has been set Pickens, who from May 2008 to July 2010 worked at the Grand Saline branch of Austin Bank.
Investigators say Pickens made unauthorized cash withdrawals from numerous accounts. The exact amount of money embezzled was not immediately released by federal authorities.
Grand Saline is 70 miles east of Dallas.
