Police were called out to a home on Burden near Schilder around 11:45pm Saturday.
Investigators say a husband and wife were fighting when the wife grabbed a gun and shot her husband once in the stomach.
The man went to the hospital in serious condition.
There is no word on if the wife was arrested or is facing any charges.
