Customs and Border Protection officers in Del Rio confiscated the ammo from a truck preparing to head into Mexico.
Authorities on Tuesday said the driver was taken into custody, pending possible federal charges. Further details on the 39-year-old woman from Del Rio were not immediately released.
The vehicle was also seized during the incident Saturday at the Del Rio International Bridge.
