Police: Man leads cops on chase to 'mess with officers'

HOUSTON Officers spotted a black Infiniti with its headlights off on West Little York last night and tried to pull the driver over. But the suspect took off, leading officers on a chase through northeast Houston.

Authorities lost the suspect for a while, but later spotted him running on foot and arrested him. Police say the car belonged to the suspect and he didn't have any warrants for his arrest.

Police asked why he ran and the suspect replied he felt like 'messing with the officers.' He's in jail now.
