Liberty County Sheriff's deputies say they uncovered a methamphetamine lab at a Splendora home during a welfare check this weekend.

They were called out to a home on Country Road 3731 Saturday night. Deputies say they talked to a woman at the home and found methamphetamine inside. They also say they discovered a cooking operation in a backyard shed.
