IAH now United's number one hub

HOUSTON

WLS-TV, our sister station in Chicago, reports since the United-Continental merger, Houston has become the airline's biggest hub. An estimated 607 United daily flights operate out of O'Hare, while 630 fly out of IAH.

That number could increase over the coming years, now that United and the city of Houston have announced a $1 billion terminal expansion project.
