Repair crews have shut off the water. Only a small number of businesses appear to be impacted.
Lanier Middle School has not been affected by the water main break. School officials are aware of the situation and are making plans for alternate parking and traffic flow during school dismissal.
Westheimer will be closed between Hazard and Driscoll pending completion of the repair. Mobility Control officers are on the scene.
