Home invasion leads to Spring Branch school lockdowns

Three Spring Branch ISD schools and an administration building have been cleared after a lockdown sparked by a search for suspect who assaulted officer.

Three Spring Branch ISD schools and the administration building were all on lockdown as police searched for a suspect who assaulted an officer. According to Spring Branch ISD police, four burglary suspects broke into a home on Voss near Long Shadows around noon. Memorial Village police arrived and were able to take three suspects in custody.

A fourth suspect reportedly assaulted the officer and then took off, which led to the lockdown of Spring Branch Middle School, Memorial Drive Elementary, Hunter's Creek Elementary and the Spring Branch Administration Building.

The fourth suspect is still on the loose. The officer was not seriously hurt.
