High speed crash injures four in N. Houston

Four people are in the hospital after a high-speed crash on Highway 290 in north Houston. Around 3:30am police say the driver of a red car was going close to 90 miles an hour down 290 near Fairbanks. The driver crashed into the back of a cargo van injuring everyone in the car.

The driver and two passengers are said to be in serious condition and a third passenger was critically injured. No one in the van was hurt.

Police are looking to see if alcohol was a factor.
