Free music download, free salsa dancing

If you love dancing the salsa, some free dance lessons to improve your moves, but first, there's free music to kick off the start of the holiday season.

If you don't have Saturday night plans, head to Discovery Green for a fantastic night of dance and a movie. The movie "Shall We Dance" featuring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez starts at 7:30pm on the big screen but before the movie begins. Houston's first salsa studio will offer pre-movie dance demonstrations and free salsa lessons. You can also score free class coupons and chances to win gift certificates and T-shirts.
Here is a freebie you can enjoy year round especially with the nice weather! The Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston is a free and open to the public daily from 9am until 10pm. The Cullen Sculpture Garden contains over 80 trees, 25 works from the museum's collections and unique sculptures to enjoy.
To get your kids in the holiday spirit, head to your Lowe's store at 10am Saturday for their build and grow clinic. Saturday's project is Build a Snowman. Be sure to sign up online or call your local Lowe's to reserve your spot.
For those who are diabetic, CVS' Minute Clinic locations have free A1c test. An A1c test shows the average blood sugar level over the past three months. The results give an overall picture of how well your treatment plan is working. The deal is only good at CVS Minute Clinics and the free test November 24 or while supplies last. Patients must be age 18 or older.
