They intentionally shut down the website after seeing what may have been a possible intrusion into the system. HISD does not believe hackers got a hold of any personal information on staff or students.
HISD network back up after possible hack attack
HOUSTON
Yesterday, we showed you that HISD's website was still down for a second day. Employees and students were left without online access until the website came back online last night. The district's IT team is now working with the FBI to investigate what appears to be a suspected cyber attack.
