Six injured after car smashes into METRO bus

HOUSTON SkyEye HD was over the scene as investigators were looking over the wreckage. METRO officials say a driver of a Hyundai ran a stop sign and hit the middle of the bus heading eastbound on McKinney.

Seven people were on board at the time, four of them were taken to a hospital as a precaution. Two people in the Hyundai were also taken to the hospital. All of the injuries are said to be minor.

A METRO official says he anticipates the driver of the Hyundai to be cited for failure to yield to the stop sign.
