Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles, starts fashion line
HOUSTON
It's been sold on HSN and now her clothing is available at Wal-Mart.
On Saturday, Knowles was back in her hometown to unveil her clothes to a huge crowd of women at a store off Dunvale. They returned the favor by buying out every rack.
Knowles says this line was born out of her own frustration when shopping --finding a good fit at a good price.
"So I started designing tunic tops a little longer to cover your butt and a little fuller in the bust and in the sleeves and then I thought, you know, I bet women would really appreciate having something that fits everybody," Knowles said.
"It's good to see a stylish shirt for a larger person without spending a lot of money," shopper Jennifer Jones said.
Sizes for the clothing line range from a 2 to 20 and nearly every item costs less than $20.
