Man accused of shooting at neighbor's home

HOUSTON Victor Hernandez is being held at the Harris County a charge of deadly conduct and felony possession of a weapon, according to a Harris County Pct. 6 statement.

Hernandez is accused of firing three bullets into his neighbor's home in the 6600 block of Avenue I on Saturday afternoon. No one inside the home was injured because the family was in the kitchen during the shooting.

But after the homeowners heard the gunshots, they went to the front of the home where they saw a bullet had entered through a window. The family immediately called deputies, who found the other two rounds lodged in the home as well.

Witnesses said they saw Hernandez walk back inside his house right after the shots were fired.

Hernandez was immediately arrested and charged with felony deadly conduct. The second charge of felony possession of a weapon was filed against him because he had prior felony convictions.
